The purpose of the Commissioners is to provide unit service
(“Deliver the Promise”). This is done through:
A Unit Commissioner is the direct link to each
unit. Our intent is to provide each unit with a unit
commissioner, who should be the first contact for all questions
from (or about) that unit. If you don’t know who your
Unit Commissioner is, contact the District Commissioner or
District Executives.
The Unit Commissioner has a number of tasks to
do:
- Help each unit recharter on time.
- Help each unit earn the Quality Unit award.
- Periodically visit unit meetings and talk with unit
leaders about unit health.
- Effectively listen to concerns of unit leaders and provide
resources for problem resolution.
- Invite unit leadership to Roundtables and other training
events.
It is the job of the Unit Commissioner to help units Deliver
the Promise.
Would you be willing to provide unit service so that the
units can “deliver the promise”?
