Information Page
We have established five different email
groups at Yahoogroups.com to enable our different groups of Ft.
Hamilton leaders and volunteers to communicate district
information more quickly, more easily, and more completely. Groups now exist for Packs, Troops, Crews, Commissioners, and
the District Leadership Team. Anyone in the district may join
any of these groups appropriate to their role(s), and many
already have.
There is no limit to the number of members in any group, but our
objective is to have the Cubmaster/Scoutmaster/Crew Advisor of
each unit join their appropriate Yahoogroup along with their
unit’s Committee Chair and Charter Rep. as a minimum.
We urge everyone to join, but if you do not have an email
address or are no longer in your role, please forward this
information to the appropriate other leaders, volunteers, and
parents in your unit and ask them to join.
To join the group or groups of your choice, click on the
appropriate subscribe link below. This will generate a
membership request message to the group’s moderator. In this
message, please identify yourself by name, unit, and the
Scouting role you fill. We will not add anyone to our groups
whom we cannot confirm is a member or a supporter of the
Scouting program in our district.
When your membership request
message has been approved, you will be sent an invitation
message by the group’s moderator with a request to click on a
“Join this group!” button that will trigger instructions for you
to follow to complete your enrollment.
For your confidence and security, please know that these groups
have been organized as closed membership groups. No one
can join without the approval of designated group moderators.
No email addresses will be made available to anyone outside this
group, and no spamming will be allowed. Messages in this
group must be directed toward furthering the quality of the
Scouting program and Scouting experiences in the district.
